The vibe in this song is awesome. The video is a little weird. Just what we needed on this lazy Sunday.

Never heard of these guys until today and I must say they are doing the damn thing right. The beat production on this track is on that a-grade next level tip. Very reminiscant of Dilla and 9th Wonder.

This video shows some clips of Joker’s recent performance at Sonar 2009. In the vid you can see Gaslamp Killer going batshit crazy on the side of the stage along the likes of Mary Ann Hobbs and MC Nomad.
We’re very excited to be bringing Joker to Asheville for the very first time on November 17th. Should be a rager.
24.Sep.09 3D video projections may be the new hot shit in VJing
The first few rounds of these video demonstrations we saw were pretty cool. This latest display is a serious step up.
Using a high powered HD video projector, people are creating stunning visual displays in public places around the world. They start out by creating a 3D model of the projection surface and then with that map they can render amazing and realistic effects with their graphic software of choice. Why this technique isn’t being utilized (to our knowledge) in live event production yet is unknown to us. This would no doubt BLOW minds at a show. Hmmm we may just have to look into this…

Our buddy Ken Webb over at Urban Fabric shot this video of Skream performing at our show in Atlanta earlier this week. In addition to what Ken captured in this video, our crew also got some really good footage from this show and also the show we did the next day in Asheville which will be posted as soon as we get all of it uploaded.
